During the pandemic having spent much of my time in isolation, I was reflecting back in time and inspired by memories of my childhood growing up in Kenya East Africa during the late 1950's and early 1960's. This is the inspiration behind Indigenous Guardians the flagship for my new series Cradle of Humanity. The series will reflect back in time through history to the present day and focus on wildlife and the colourful diversity of culture Africa has to offer. Sometime in the future post pandemic, I will be returning back to Kenya to paint, although I am inspired to begin my journey into the series with my wonderful memories, I do feel it is time for me to return to really connect with change!
